We do not collect any personal information. SHAAK operates entirely offline-first.

We do not use analytics services.
We do not use advertising SDKs.
We do not collect usage data or crash reports.

2. Data Storage

All data created within the app stays on your device.

Encryption Keys: The keys you create are stored locally in your device's localStorage or IndexedDB. They are never sent to any server.
Messages: Encrypted and decrypted text is processed in your device's memory and is discarded when you clear the field or close the app.

3. Network Usage

SHAAK does not make any network requests to perform its core functionality. Encrypting and decrypting involves mathematical operations performed by your device's processor using the Web Crypto API.

4. Permissions

The app requires minimal permissions:

Storage/Clipboard: To allow you to copy and paste text easily.

5. Changes to This Policy

Since we do not collect data, we do not anticipate significant changes to this policy. However, any future updates will be posted on this page.
